One of the founding partners of the firm has over 30 years experience in advising on shipping transactions and representing clients in maritime related disputes. He has often represented P&I clubs, port terminal operators, and offshore international oil and gas companies (IOCs) . He also regularly consults for national, regional, and international institutions on maritime policies and legislation including the Convention on Law of the Sea . Among others
– Handled high profile shipping and international trade cases including the settlement of a multimillion USD maritime litigation on behalf of a London based P&I Club.
– Represented Switzerland trading firm in the enforcement of a foreign arbitration award in Senegal;
– Represented shipowners as welll as P&I clubs in arrest of vessels procedures in several jurisdictions of the West Coast of Africa.
